|JASON WU: Autumn/Winter 2011|
I absolutely love having embellishments and decorative details on any article of clothing or accessory. It's ability to visually impact an article of clothing and create a regal look is one that's not only impressive but unique. Designers such as Balmain, Roberto Cavalli and Jason Wu demanded attitude this year by adorning their 2011 runway shows with embellished details. Jason Wu in particular went ostentatious by embroidering little decorative details onto his clothes, engineering it to look like a print. Wu's ability to ambitiously experiment with sequins, beading, paillettes, lace and feathers proved that even the most neutral outfits (in color) can turn heads through embellished details.
