ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON

RUNNING AROUND IN MY GUCCI & BLACK BOOTS
Mink Pink shorts, Aldo boots, Gucci cross-body, F21 shirt, H&M feathered necklace
Went to Alice's free "Summerthing" Concert at the Golden Gate Park last Sunday. OneRepublic, Parachute, Michelle Branch, Matt Nathanson and Andrew Allen performed. I knew this day would consist of me running around and frolicking in the sun, so I decided to wear my flat black boots along with a cross-body for comfort. & all I can say is, I'm sure glad I did.

HANGING BY THE FRINGE

LET THE FRINGE FALL
Lily Donaldson for Vogue United Kingdom - March 2009

There's something about the simplicity, yet drastic imagery of fringe that makes it a normal but still head-turning piece to wear. Could it be the swinging accents that move with your every moves? Or perhaps the multitude of threads that just seem to cleverly fall against your body. Whatever it may be, designers this year are eagerly flaunting fringe in their collections whether it be on shoes, handbags, apparel, or even jewelry. Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, Alexander Wang and Emilio Pucci are just some of the many designers that showcase fringe in their 2011 Runway Collections.

Patterns and prints have exploded this season in every way possible. Ranging from floral, ikat, animal, tribal to even abstract, prints of all kinds have been making appearances on all types of clothing. This season in particular, prints and patterns have been making a tremendous mark on skirts and shorts. The mix of colors along with the vibrant and whimsical feel of prints provide a fresh and fun take on summer dressing. So, if you're looking for fun ways to prepare for summer, snatch up some printed skirts and shorts!

THRIVING IN HEAT

IN VIVA LAS VEGAS
Chillin and relaxing at the Venetian pool!

Every year me and my group of girls from college take an annual trip down to Vegas. It's a great way for us all to get together, spend quality time and make new fun/crazy memories together. This year in particular was especially memorable due to the means of accessibility we had to certain events/scenes and the celebrities we encountered and got to party with such as Paris Hilton. Anyways pictures always tell a lot more than words, so enjoy!

At Marquee Dayclub, wearing a blouse by Lush, F21 pink shorts and Ray Ban aviators.
We had complimentary bottomless pitchers of Strawberry Mojito's all day! How could I not resist?!?
H&M bandeau bikini top, Victorias Secret bikini bottom
I know... you can't really see my outfit, but here I'm wearing an American Apparel mesh bodysuit & a F21 hot pink skirt
Last night was spent at Marquee Nightclub! The energy of the club/crowd here was so intense and fun!

SHADES OF BLISS
H&M leather jacket, Wilfred silk tank top from Aritzia, DIY cut off shorts, F21 necklace, Ray-Ban aviators, sandals from Urban Outfitters, Chloe paraty python handbag

I was down in Los Angeles this past weekend for Memorial Day weekend. It's rare for me to have 3 days off, yet alone sometimes even 2 days off in a row so it was nice to get away and take advantage. I literally packed my bags 30 minutes the night before I left for LA. It's hard to pack and think of outfits for all the different activities you plan on doing while on vacation, especially in 1/2 an hour. Yet, if you have key pieces in your wardrobe that you particularly enjoy, sometimes you can just throw all that in your luggage, and hope that those key pieces will create a coordinated outfit. Luckily, I was able to create an outfit with some of my favorite pieces I threw in my luggage the night before. Here's one of them.
