NATIVE PRINTING

STRIPS OF NOMADIC PRINTSNomad, native, tribal and aztec prints -- all which share similar textile ancestries, began heavily re-appearing in fashion this past Spring. Since then, nomadic prints have persisted into following seasons being incorporated on sweaters, cardigans, skirts and now dresses. The simple print's ability to add a bold and blithesome feel to clothing articles makes this pattern as enjoyable as it is fashionable to wear.

THE KNITTED SWEATER

STYLISH COZY, COMFORT
Knitted sweaters have been around forever and have become increasingly more popular throughout the years. My guess why? We realized just how comfortable and easy it is to throw on a sweater while learning ways to transform this once called "grandma" sweater into a stylish go-to piece. I for one have become especially fond of my taupe colored sweater's ability to compliment most lower garments in my wardrobe. Such as my maxi skirt, leather pants/shorts, denim, patterned shorts and even rompers.

WHITE AND LEATHER

BASIC DRESSING
I've been looking for the perfect pair of affordable leather pants (that actually fit right) for the longest time and finally came across some at H&M the other day. I've always been drawn to leather pants for its simple appeal yet ability to give off an edgy vibe. You'd also be surprised at how many pieces you can pull together that go with leather pants, and how even the most basic in apparel can look trendy in appearance solely due to leather pants. Like, a basic white tee for example. So for those looking for a fashionable alternative to denim and leggings, try on some leather pants this fall/winter!

MEN'S STREET STYLE

EFFORTLESSLY FASHIONABLE
Love the color army green especially on parkas & utility jackets. Casual, easy to wear and appropriate for all styles
Cuffed up denim that actually look appealing. Loving the undershirt peak in photo 1 too, nice touch of contrast
Plaid: an undying pattern in fashion. Hint of red on the shoes also attracts some subtle but needed attention.
Breaking away from denim -- enter khaki. Every man should also own a pair of loafers/boat shoes.
Trench coats can add so much style & appeal to an outfit while giving off a confident persona
Photo 1: love how he cuffed the ends of his shirt over his jacket. Photo 2: great color scheme of an outfit

LAYERING UP FOR FALL

WARM IT UP IN LAYERS
Today was the first official day that actually felt like Fall here in the East Bay in California. Cloudy skies, rain, wind and cold weather. Although I'm not a fan of chilly weather, I do love bundling up in clothes and layering up when necessary. Coordinating together different textures, color combinations, and styles, while maintaing a cohesive look is one challenge I love about layering. It's also one fun way to keep yourself warm during chilly seasons.
