I studied interior architecture in college and still have a deep appreciation for interior spaces, especially when traveling. Hospitality design in particular has always been a favorite due to the intricacy and level of creativity involved to really maximize a vision. These particular photos were taken while exploring the Four Seasons in Wailea. Our morning started with an amazing brunch there followed by resort explorations and a beach walk which was connected to the resort. Knowing I'd be doing a decent amount of walking I threw on my go-to comfortable Birkenstocks, summer apparel, and a big floppy hat to protect my face from those UV rays.

Last week was spent in beautiful Maui and I couldn't have asked for a better trip with the perfect amount of adventure and relaxation. Mornings were often spent venturing off and exploring Maui while afternoons became accustomed to beaches and poolside behavior. The second day in particular was spent exploring Haleakala crater just in time for sunrise followed by beach time relaxation at Wailea. It helped that our resort had a beautiful private beach behind it too with complimentary umbrellas, sunblock, chairs and everything for beach comfort. As a California girl I've always been a sucker for beaches and summer wear and while this post only captures 1 of the 5 days we experienced, it sure captures it beautifully.

Ending the post with the beautiful shot of Haleakala Crater that my boyfriend shot at sunrise.
