HOW TO STYLE A TUBE TOP TO LOOK CLASSY

Wearing Topshop tube top, Chelsea28 skirt from Nordstrom, Hermes Oran sandals, WhoWhatWear Collection straw bag, and Karen Walker sunglasses.

Flashback to the 90’s, tube tops are back in style and making a comeback like never before. The straight tube top look is available at almost every retailer that sells basics and what I love about this trend is the versatility of it. You can wear it alone, as an undershirt, or as a bikini cover-up. Tube tops are also flattering on petite and small busted girls since it hugs your chest and make your bare shoulders look sexy. If you think you can’t pull off tube tops, yes you can and here are 3 ways to style it and make it look classy.

How to Style a Tube Top to Look Classy:

  1. Wear it with a high-waisted maxi skirt: This is the perfect vacation vibe outfit and a great way to make a tube top look feminine and chic. The high-waisted skirt minimizes the amount of bare stomach or will cover it entirely. The maxi skirt will help lengthen your figure and balance the overall look since your top will be bare but your legs will be covered.
  2. Wear it under a sheer blouse (similar to this one): This is a great way to wear a sheer blouse with a camisole, that’s not a camisole. The no strap look will make your blouse look clean and trendy while drawing attention to your neckline and shoulders. It’s a fresh take on layering.
  3. Wear it with high-waisted jeans and tuck it in: Anything high-waisted looks great with tube tops, but high waisted jeans are a great way to style it for every day. Try to wear jeans that go above or as close to your belly button as possible and if your tube top is longer tuck it into your jeans. This will give the illusion of a tube top body suit and make you look slim.
