Ever been to a wine festival? Well if you love wine, you should definitely give one a shot. I had the honor of attending the inaugural RoséFest hosted by Sterling Vineyards in Napa Valley on June 24 and had the time of my life. I had no idea what to expect, but it’s literally just like it sounds. An event where you drink rosé all day. The entire property was full of booths from over 30 wineries in the county with bottles of their rosé, and the tastings were unlimited. I personally don’t drink a lot of rosé (I prefer red wines) but these wines really gave me a new appreciation for it. With all the great wines, I could have easily gotten lit at this event. Thankfully, there were also great food pairings from top restaurants including Acacia House and Brasswood. Some of my favorites from the event overall included the sparkling rosé from Castella di Amorosa and cucumber avocado soup with dungeness crab from Market St. Helena. I had such a great time that I plan to go again next year because hey we can all use a little more rosé in our lives. 🙂
