WHITE SNEAKER REVIEW AND MY PERFECT PAIR

Wearing custom shoes of prey white sneakers, ASTR the Label jillian off the shoulder blouse, Levi’s 501 selvedge skinny jeans, Katie Dean choker necklace and Chloe drew handbag.

I have been on the hunt for a pair of comfortable, classic, affordable, and clean white sneakers for the longest time. My co-workers can testify this as they’ve seen me order, try on and return several pairs of white sneakers in the past few months. You might be thinking, why was it so hard to find a pair of basic white sneakers? Well for starters, I have small feet. My true foot size is a 5.5 and most sneakers only come in full sizes. I also didn’t want Converses or Vans and all the other shoes I tried, there was something wrong with them. Since I learned a lot about sneakers during my search, I wanted to share my knowledge on certain brands and the amazing brand that finally solved my need for a pair of clean, white sneakers!

Review on 4 White Sneaker Brands:

  • Kenneth Cole Kam Sneakers: I actually owned these sneakers (worn here & here) but they got destroyed when I wore them in Croatia during a thunderstorm and had to toss them. I loved these since they were comfortable and went with everything, including dresses. The gold strip on the back also gave it a nice touch and they were seen on Kendall Jenner. I would recommend these since they fit the bill of the classic, modern, white sneaker at an affordable price.
  • Common Projects Achilles: So these are my ideal white sneakers and I bought Josh these for his birthday last year but I didn’t want to be that cheesy couple with matching sneakers (or do I..?). Since I also wanted sneakers that I wouldn’t mind getting dirty, I couldn’t get over the idea of spending over $400 on sneakers. They also only come in full sizes. If you’re in-between sizes, size down since they tend to run big.
  • Superga 2750 Cotu Sneakers: I was excited when I ordered these since I saw other bloggers rock them, but the minute I put them on I was so confused. They are so uncomfortable and run SO big, even the size 5 was huge on me. They run wide and kept slipping off my feet and barely have any cushion. If you have narrow feet, don’t even try with these.
  • Shoes of Prey Custom White Ludlow Sneakers: I discovered this brand a while ago and love how you can customize everything about the shoe. They also just launched a shoe fit quiz so you can see what your true shoe size is! After several failed white sneaker attempts, I decided to create my own and am so glad I did. Shoes of Prey come in half sizes, run true to size and you can design them however you want. I got a rose gold backing to add personal flair and got TRENDENVY inscribed in gold inside the sole of the shoe. The best part is that they are super comfortable and fit perfectly. I tend to get compliments when I wear these sneakers, which is ironic given how simple they are. I guess it’s true what they say, simplicity is key and in fashion, it’s all about the fit.
