WINE TASTING AT LONG MEADOW RANCH

One of my favorite ways to spend the weekend is to visit wine country. It’s an easy trip from San Francisco (about 1.5 hours away) and a great way to escape the city fog since it’s usually sunny in Sonoma and Napa. It’s also a great way to learn about wine, visit various wineries and take “instagrammable” photos since wineries are super picturesque.

I visited Long Meadow Ranch since I love their Cabernet Franc and am a huge fan of their restaurant Farmstead. Josh and I did their Mayacamas Estate Experience wine tasting and boy, were we in for a treat. When we arrived at Long Meadow Ranch a worker greeted us and drove us in a mini-shuttle to the top of the vineyards, up high above Napa Valley. The view was amazing. When we got to the top, we were greeted by the huge Estate which is where the wine tasting was. I loved how intimate and immersive the entire experience was and all of their wines were so good. We also got to visit the cave that they store all the wine barrels in. It felt like a scene from Game of Thrones. One of my favorite things about Long Meadow Ranch is that they even grow and produce their own food like olive oil, fruits, and jam and everything tastes amazing. I wanted to leave buying one of everything! If you’re planning to visit wine country, I highly recommend doing the Mayacamas Estate Experience at Long Meadow Ranch. It’s super informative, immersive, and come with a view and experience that you can’t get at most wineries.
